BOXE - RAFF GIGLIO


Began his career at 17 years old with the Teacher José Santa Rosa.
He had his first international experience when he trained for 4 months in New York.
Graduated boxer teacher as he took part in “Curso da Solidariedade Olímpica”, given by the Cuban teacher José Antônio Lopes Marrero and had several famous training friends, such as the ex-world-champion Miguel de Oliveira and the only Brazilian athlete to receive the Olympic medal, Servilho de Oliveira, and others.


CONQUESTS AS COACH
State Championship: half-medium professional category, boxer Anilton Silva Nascimento.
Twice Brazilian Champion: half-medium-hard category and professional “cruzador”, boxer Dionísio Lazário.
Latin American Champion (WBO): professional over-hard category, boxer Aurélio Toyo Perez.
Raff conquered several gold, silver and bronze medals in the Olympic Boxe; won state and Brazilian championships and was manager of the Rio de Janeiro’s team.
One of the founders from F.B.E. RJ in 1991 (federation) and L.B.E. RJ in 2000 (league).
Creator and responsible for the Boxe Project to communities that deal with more than 400 young people from Vidigal community - RJ.
In time: boxe teacher of Companhia Athletica and Academia Nova Geração.

BOXE - CARLOS BALDUINO

Carlos Eduardo Balduino de Mello began boxing as student from teacher José Santa Rosa in 1994, concluding his formation with the teacher Raff Giglo in 1999. Ranked as second place in Brazilian by CBB at category "cruzador", he did 20 fights (10 wins and 1 draw). As main references he has 2 disputes for the Boxe Brazilian Title, one of them against de famous boxer Laudelino Barros, and one international fight in Europe, Denmark, against Tom Bjorn Tonsen.
